Impotency is often regarded as a sentence worse  than death for many men, which is ironic since the disease itself is  very treatable.  By dealing with the mental aspects of impotency first,  men can get on with treating the rest of it.</p>
<p>The first thing to remember about impotency is the fact that it is a  medical condition.  Just like diabetes or an irregular heartbeat, those  with impotence did not choose to have it, nor is there much they could  have done to prevent it.  By acknowledging this fact first, and truly  understanding and believing it, men who are having a difficult time  dealing with their impotence can begin to get past the stigma and begin  exploring treatment.</p>
<p>Another thing men coping with impotence need to remember is that having  erectile dysunction in no way makes them any less of a man.  This would  be similar to saying that a woman who has had ovarian trouble is somehow  less of a woman.  Just because a particular condition targets a  gender-specific reproductive organ does not mean that the affected  person is less true to their sex because of it.  Although men typically  view it this way, it is certainly not the case.</p>
<p>Finally, once men realize that their significant others will still love  them regardless of their condition, they can begin to understand that  impotency is not the end of their lives.  Sex, like any other part of a  marriage, takes work.  If the work involved takes patience and medicine,  it is no different than the work involved in any other part of a  marriage.  Impotency is not the end of a marriage.  It is simiply the  beginning of a different sexual routine.</p>
<p>For men struggling with impotency, the most difficult battle can be the  one inside their own heads.  However by accepting the condition for what  it is, men can move on with their lives and begin adjusting, adapting,  and living normally once more.</p>

<p>One easy way to begin a diet is by buying light beer as opposed to  heavier, higher calorie beer.  Although many men prefer the taste of  &#8220;real beer,&#8221; many light beers can offer the same taste with half the  calories.  Another option would be gradually switching to light beer  throughout the day.  For those who are able to drink 6-12 beers during  the course of a Sunday, it may be a good idea to replace the last 75%  with the light beer.  That way, you&#8217;ll have the taste and satisfaction  of a heavier beer while also saving yourself several hundred calories.</p>
<p>Another easy way to make the normal habits healthier is by modifying the  diet.  Even for those who love brats or other tailgate BBQ foods, there  are plenty of reduced fat options that taste just as good, still  contain fat, and are still examples of grilled meat.  Most men love the  flavor of meat on a grill, but by spending just a few extra seconds  trimming the fat first, men can ensure that their meal is both delicious  and not terrible for them.</p>
<p>Finally, the junk food that is often associated with football watching  Sundays can be an easy fix.  Low fat and baked options for pretzels,  nuts and chips are available at the grocery store, usually right next to  the regular versions.  By eliminating or minimizing the grease and  saturated fat, men can still enjoy snacking without putting on nearly as  many pounds while doing it.</p>

Although testicular cancer can be quite treatable, it must be  spotted early and the only way to ensure that is done is by performing  monthly self exams.  This can not only save your life, but early  detection could also prevent having to have them removed.</p>
<p>Another check that men should get regularly is a prostate exam.   Prostate cancer is far more dangerous than testicular cancer, since the  test cannot be performed without a doctor.  Men have to start looking to  women as their role models when it comes to reproductive health.  Just  like how women perform regular breast exams and pap smears, men should  perform testicular exams and have their prostates checked.  A once a  year appointment could be the difference and could add years to your  life.</p>
<p>Finally, all men over 40 should have annual colonoscopies.  Since colon  cancer is predominant in men, it is one of the most dangerous cancers  that can be very difficult to find.  Unfortunately many times by the  time symptoms arise, the cancer is already exceptionally advanced.  By  getting regular colonoscopies, men can ensure that they are living a  very healthy life.</p>

<p>The sad fact that many men do not care to admit is the fact that with  age, we begin to lose the things we once had and have to work to achieve  the things that once came naturally.  Although there are solutions to  each problem, there is no more rude awakening than these.</p>
<p>One of the first things to be lost, especially in men with a genetic  predisoposition to it, is hair.  Hair loss seems to be one of those  things that doesn&#8217;t happen until the ages of 30 or 40, but as anyone who  is balding will tell you, receeding hairlines can start as early as 18.   This news is often unwelcome to those who are on the recieving end of  it, as there is no worse feeling than watching something you love slowly  disappear.  Although advancements in medicine could eventually make  hair loss a thing of the past, it is currently one of the tell-tale  signs of getting older.</p>
<p>Another thing men lose is their sexual ability.  Impotence refers to  many different sexual problems, but in general most men will at some  point experience unwanted sexual issues regarding a lack in performance.   Most men are also surprised to learn that these issues can arrise as  early as your 20&#8242;s.  I think most men as teenagers have a hard time  believing that they&#8217;ll ever have a problem, but as time goes by for many  men it becomes an inevitability.</p>
<p>Not all aging has to do with loss.  In fact, some of it has to do a  great deal with gaining.  Weight gain is one of the sure signs of aging,  as most men get heavier as they age.  This fact has less to do with  things getting heavier as it does things getting slower; as we age, our  metabolism slows down.  Since many young boys don&#8217;t adjust their eating  habits into adulthood, we end up eating more than we can properly burn.</p>
<p>Although getting older is often an unwelcome reality, there are some  simple remedies for most of its symptoms.  Excersise and regular doctor  visits will help keep you feeling your youngest.</p>

The positive effects of exercise are so  overwhelming that it can and should basically be viewed as a prevention  remedy for every and anything.  Most men feel depressed or discouraged  as they get older, because the intensity levels of their workouts are  harder to maintain from when they were younger.
