MEDICATIONS FOR IMPOTECY

In today’s scenario, treatment of impotence is readily available and can be cured during the course of time. There are various treatments and medications available for the same. Various drugs are available which can be taken after consulting a doctor. Cause and reason of impotency will determine the correct and accurate medicine for the problem. This problem can be best explained by a doctor and should be the prime concern for the person whenever there is a suspect regarding the problem.

Various types of medications are used with various kinds of impotency problems. Some of the examples are-

PDE5, it is type of phophodiesterase – This drug generally help to smooth out the arteries in the muscles so that it loosen up allowing the normal blood flow in the penis which results in proper erection and ejaculation in the process of sexual intercourse. These type of drugs mainly includes Cialis, Viagra, Levitra.

Androskat and Alprostadil – These drugs also helps in increasing the blood flow during the process and they are injected or infused into the penis just prior to sexual intercourse.

Penis pump – In this, penis is placed into a pump before the sexual intercourse to stimulate the blood flow in the penis. The other name of this is also vacuum therapy.

There are various services available as well, if one needs to get it fixed due to physical problems, one can get small devices installed which increases the blood flow and erects the penis by pulling it up.

Warnings of impotency medications

These drugs need to be taken after proper consultation. Sometimes when the blood flow is stimulated there is difficulty in releasing the blood again, which results in extending erection up to hour’s causing discomfort and pain. And in some cases, people with heart problem, find it difficult to take medications due to health issues.

The Proof of Evenings: Impotence

It is the most vicious of cycles: you fret over the sudden lack of arousal, the inability to sustain an erection; you think yourself becoming impotent, succumbing to age and all of its perils. Panic becomes common. Urgency fills each thought. And you are rendered helpless, unable to perform as you wish, unable to find satisfaction. Intercourse seems an impossibility – and one you cannot return to its former importance. You are not the man you once were. You’re instead changed… and not for the better.

So you sleep; and you dream; and you wonder if there is anything to be done. Upon waking, however, you find evidence of an erection, the nocturnal emissions. You’re confused. You thought this all was a terrible permanency, but the appearance of ejaculation leaves you suddenly relieved – and suddenly able to achieve stimulation.

The body is dependent on far more than physical sensations. It is instead dominated by psychology. Emotions like worry or fear can trigger immediate responses: such as illness, fatigue or even impotence.

Though commonly caused by a constriction of blood vessels, erectile dysfunction can also be formed by stress. A nervous condition can cease any chance of arousal, leaving an individual unable to achieve even a brief erection. And this, of course, becomes exacerbated as that same individual is made self-conscious about his current state. The panic feeds into itself, creating greater damage.

The proof of a mental complication is to be found in the night, however. When ejaculate can be seen, it is therefore able to be reasoned that a man is not suffering from impotence – he is instead suffering from a form of anxiety. This then helps him to lessen the strain and craft an easier treatment: simple relaxation.

Before impotence can be assumed, it must be addressed within the evening. If erections can occur then, the condition is purely of the mind and not of the body.

Impotence and Alcohol

The alcohol can fall down to anyone
Image via Wikipedia

It’s the most common of traditions – every evening ends with a sampling of alcohol, a quick taste to calm yourself after a too hectic day. Your career is demanding. Your family is forever dependent on your moods. And the hours were impossibly long, determined to let every second sprawl toward infinity. It is only to be expected then that you indulge now in the flavors you crave. This is not excess. There is no abuse or dependence. There is instead only the happy minutes that belong to you: preludes, you’re certain, to eventual intercourse. Your midnight has been well planned.

Such plans prove to be futile, however, when it’s discovered you cannot achieve the wanted erection. You are suddenly – and inexplicably – impotent.

The causes of impotence are many but they often remain unknown. Too many assume this disease to be a result of age or medical worries, the infections that plague. It can instead, though, be formed by far simpler choices… such as alcohol.

Simply explained: when alcohol is consumed, it effects the nervous system. These effects are typically wanted and result in decreases of stress or worry. Euphoria is instead experienced. That feeling does not extend toward the nerves themselves, however. Instead they become constricted, with the blood flow impeded. The necessary amounts cannot reach the penis and an erection is difficult to form (and will often soften before release can be found). Response times are also slowed, with stimuli unable to announce arousal quickly throughout the nerves.

And this can cause temporary impotence – which can be alarming to any individual. It is recommended therefore that no sexual activity be attempted while intoxicated. Even a limited amount of alcohol can lessen the chances of achieving an erection (or being subsequently able to maintain it). All consumption should instead be cautious and wise. Choose your moments carefully and understand the potential concerns.

The Effects of Cycling: Impotence

Kama Sutra Illustration
Image via Wikipedia

There are few pleasures in your life that can be considered purely your own – most of your time is (happily) offered to your family, your friends. You meet their demands and fulfill all of their needs. The empty miles, however, have become your release: it’s a devotion of hours and afternoons, indulging in the simple act of cycling. There is only open air and precious freedom to greet you. There are no concerns for a career, for obligations. You are instead able to just embrace the day. You’re satisfied.

That satisfaction, however, can be tempered by the worry that your favored pastime can be causing sudden loss of erections.

Impotence, simply defined, is when a penis cannot maintain firmness. Skin instead softens and can rarely complete an orgasm. Ejaculation may be premature or nonexistent. And this is caused by damaging the nerves within the pelvic region – which directs the necessary flow of blood and ensures receptors understand the indications of arousal. When these indications are impeded, however, it then becomes impossible for an individual to engage in normal intercourse.

And cycling has become an uneasy source of this. Through the constant pressure against the pelvis, nerves may become constricted. This can cause temporary impotence and force a revaluation of a rider’s habits. The position of a seat, the transference of weight and even the amount of time spent on a bike all play a role in erectile dysfunction.

It is essential therefore that any man who may be experiencing this problem seek a physician. There can be no assumption of the disease simply fading away. It may instead worsen when not diagnosed. Treatments and alternative positions can be charted out with a doctor – determining what changes must be made so both cycling and sexual intercourse can be continued.

They can exist together. They must simply be planned.

Impotence: Diagnosis

It is the most awkward of situations: a man waits in a white walled room, wincing at every approach of shadows, the echo of footsteps beyond – wondering (and dreading) when his doctor will arrive. A condition is finally to be addressed, but there is no relief in this. There is instead only the desire to flee. Impotence, it is assumed, is to be kept a secret. Choosing to reveal it shall only lead to embarrassment for all. And there is a terrible temptation to simply refuse to admit the problem exists and leave before anyone can prove otherwise.

Such temptation must be denied, however, so a diagnosis can properly begin. Concerns of impotence must be explained. They are not to be hidden. It is only through a confession that the disease can be evaluated by a doctor, with its causes determined.

The most important element of this determination comes from the initial patient history all individuals will be forced to reveal. This is more than the information offered to questionnaires. This is instead the full examination of a life – physicians will wish to inquire about all current health complications, any prescription or non-prescription medication that has been taken, drug usage, alcohol consumption, exercise routines and sexual activity. This particularly will be of help when diagnosing impotence. Individuals will need to be able to recount the previous weeks and detail such elements as: frequency of intercourse, ability to be aroused, ejaculation troubles and the ability to maintain an erection.

Such questions are often difficult for men to answer. There is a tendency to be vague or even deliberately false. Information is not to be denied, however. Impotence cannot be treated when there is a lack of facts. All queries – no matter how uncomfortable – must be given complete disclosure.

Impotence is a disease few wish to recognize. Diagnosis, however, begins with admissions and honesty.

Impotence: Laboratory Results

It’s a force of needles, a demand for blood – a body is injected, made to endure all of the terrible ordeals. A worry of impotence has caused a long process of questions and testing; and an individual has no choice but to offer his time, his patience and his dignity to the cause of understanding a disease. There was an assumption that no such labors would be necessary. A confession would be given and a diagnosis would be offered: this was the belief.

That belief has been proven incorrect, however, as another series of experiments must be done. A doctor cannot offer conclusive answers until all information has been obtained – and this information is found beneath the skin.

Impotence (or the more aptly named Erectile Dysfunction) occurs when the flow of blood is somehow altered. Nerves can be constricted; arterial walls call be filled to plaque; medications can cause adverse reactions. There are countless causes – each of which must therefore be addressed through the lab.

Individuals must be prepared for extensive testing when they consult with their doctors. Treatment cannot begin simply because the problem has been named. It must instead wait until a singular reason has been found. And this requires such impositions as: blood samples, urine analysis, liver enzymes count, testosterone level assessments and hormonal imbalance checking. Each can offer proof of what is happening within a body and what must subsequently be done.

These tests will not be difficult. They will, however, be potentially awkward. Men should prepare themselves for lengthy sessions of questions and blood withdrawals. These are both essential but may cause some embarrassment.

Impotence is not to be denied. It must instead be offered quickly to a doctor, with the necessary tests then secured. The results will help to define treatment and find any possible cure.

Impotence: Examining Intercourse

It has become a private matter, a secret shared between you and your loved one: an erection cannot be maintained (or often even achieved). Orgasm has become impossible and intercourse has therefore stumbled to a sudden halt. There have been no complaints of this from your parter; but you worry still over the loss, the effect it can have on a relationship. Impotence – and that remains such a cruel word – must be admitted… if only to ensure you can eventually find satisfaction for the two of you once again.

You assume, however, that this quest will be a singular one. You will discuss this unfortunate matter with your doctor. You will answer all questions. There is no need to involve your partner, you believe. They can offer nothing of value.

This is not true.

During any diagnosis of impotence, physicians will consult with the second party to learn more about the sexual habits and expectations found within the relationship. This is not meant to create embarrassment (though it often does). It is instead to ensure that all information is valid and all issues have been perceived equally.

Many think this to be unnecessary, believing that it is little more than an invasion of privacy. There can be important revelations found within this information, however, and it should not be refused. A partner may expose causes that were unnoticed by the impotence sufferer. Issues of stress, depression or other psychological elements may be discovered. Lifestyle habits can also be detailed from an outside point of view – which can often prove itself to be more accurate.

This becomes vital in diagnosing possible causes for impotence. The truth is not always offered by those who are burdened with it; and this is not an intentional deception, but is instead the product of embarrassment. Receiving a partner’s perspective helps to provide a more complete image.

And this is necessary to form treatments and potential reliefs.

Talking About Impotence with Your Partner

Men are great at many tasks, but communicating their emotions with loved ones is not their strong suit. At certain stages of their life, men may become impotent, which means they suffer from erectile dysfunction. In essence, they can no longer get or maintain an erection even though they are sexually stimulated. There are many emotional and physical responses to impotence, but it is important for both parties to understand how this affects their love life.

Do not misread your partner’s impotence for a lack of love, or ability to care about you as a lover. Just because he cannot get an erection does not mean he thinks you are unattractive or undesirable. Communicating is the quintessential step for a successful relationship, and it becomes even more vital once a man has problems performing. People become impotent for a variety of reasons, most of which are beyond any partner’s control. Unless you share the same genetics, have identical diets, and mirror each others lives, you cannot control it.

Communication Goes a Long Way

Men are hesitant to discuss their impotence problems with other guys, so it is important to discuss these things with their spouses. The issue should be brought up in a serious manner, citing medical diagnoses, doctors’ visits, and other information necessary for the other person to completely comprehend what is happening. Avoid bringing the issue up in bed, and do not wait until you are ready for sexual intercourse but cannot physically perform.

Understand it may be difficult for the opposite party to accept the facts of life, and try to ease them into the situation. Consider bringing home pamphlets from the doctors office and giving them to your partner during the conversation. It is always best to arm them with enough information, so they can become an educated party. You need your partner’s support mentally and physically during your impotence treatment.

Helping Your Husband Cope with Male Impotence

Kama Sutra Illustration

Men suffering from male impotence, also known as erectile dysfunction, are going through difficult times, both emotionally and physically. Men have trouble admitting when something is wrong, and some of them are embarrassed or afraid to tell you that their manhood is in crisis. It is as much as an emotional obstacle as it is a physical barrier. Do not ruin your relationship because they do not know how to handle it emotionally. Try to walk your man through his impotence by being supportive, going with him to his appointments and learning about the issue.

Whether he wants to admit it or not, your spouse needs your support during the process. Just because he is unable to perform in the bedroom does not mean he disrespects you, views you as unattractive, or is seeing someone else. You must strengthen your emotional ties with each other, ensuring the bond you both have is airtight. Engage in non-sexual activities that still arouse him and set the mood. Help him through this difficult time without smothering or being a “mother-like figure.”

Discuss Treatment Options

Openly communicate your feelings about the matter, letting him know you love him for who he is as a person, beyond the walls of your bedroom. The treatment in which he seeks is ultimately his own decision, but it should be made in unison as a couple. If he does take pills, do not “nag” or schedule times to have sexual intercourse. Everything needs to seam as natural as possible to avoid a “weird” and “funny” feeling in the room. The point of many of the medicines is for men to take it without women knowing they are impotent. Only help him as long as he is willing to listen to your suggestions, and do not push him.

If problems continue to arise after treatment, consider engaging in friendly conversation or seek the advice of a marriage counselor. Specialists exist to coach a husband and wife through the trials and tribulations of life, including male impotence.

Taking Your Impotence Medicine As Discretely As Possible

Image via Wikipedia

Men suffering from impotence have the option of taking medication to lessen the severity of their disorder. If a doctor prescribes medicine such as Viagra or Levitra, they must be taken before sexual intercourse can occur. Sometimes, as men know, sex is not a planned agenda item. Being in the heat of the moment is great in real life, but not when a medicine needs an hour to kick-in. If you take the medicine too late, you risk under performing, whereas if it is too early, you might have an embarrassing story to tell your friends.

If you are going on a dinner date, you can judge how the night is going to go after you order dessert. If you think the evening may progress to the bedroom, hop to the bathroom while your dessert is being prepared. If you live further from the restaurant, try to slyly take the pill when you are about 45 minutes from the final destination. If your date asks what you are taking, simply reply you have mild heartburn, which isn’t enough to stop you from having sex.

Whenever you are going on a date with your spouse or a potential mate, slip a pill inside your shirt pocket before leaving the house. They are too small to put in your pant’s pocket, and is easily accessible in a pinch. It is a guessing game as to when you should take the medication, but ensure you can live without a noticeable erection in case you misread your partner and took the dose. Nothing is worse than having to explain why you have an erection for no apparent season.

Talk to Your Doctor

If you cannot find a system that is working for you, ask your doctor for advice. Perhaps he or she may recommend an alternative treatment that allows for spur of the moment ordeals. Life – like sex – is spontaneous, as you never know what is coming next.
